One of the oldest cat cafes in New Zealand, order a drink and enjoy snuggling up to the feline friends who live here. If you’re still wary of cats and aren’t ready to get up close, take a peak from the built-in ‘catio’ out back.
Whether you’re angry at a cat or just feline curiosity, they’ve created a tranquil space where you can relax and enjoy some feline therapy with a special group of rescue cats. The cafe is extremely focused on welfare, so entry is at a set time with a limited number of guests at each session, so the cats are happy in their home, which in turn contributes to a better visitor experience.
To spend time with our furry family, an entrance fee is charged, which contributes to their ongoing care as well as to the cost of operation. The cafe is a small, independent social enterprise, so all proceeds help keep the doors open – your support keeps the cafe going!
Whether you book a general visit, attend a monthly movie night, pick up a takeaway coffee, buy our products, or donate to us monthly, you are directly supporting the mission of creating forever homes for cats, many of whom have had rough starts.
There is an age limit. According to the social plan, all guests must be 10 years of age or older. Proof of age is required. In addition, please note that it is a legal requirement for guests aged 10 to 14 to be accompanied by an adult.
